Job summary

QSR Brands (M) Holdings Bhd is seeking a Procurement Executive (Indirect Materials) to support sourcing across indirect categories for our fast‑food brands and regional operations. You will help ensure timely, compliant procurement of quality goods and services at the best value.

In this role you will liaise with internal stakeholders and suppliers, manage end‑to‑end contracts, assist with tender processes, and drive cost‑saving and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in Procurement or Purchasing, ideally within the FMCG or food-related activities.

Responsibilities

• Support sourcing and procurement activities across indirect materials and other categories to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with QA, Operations, Marketing and other departments to align procurement with business needs.
• Liaise with suppliers on specifications, pricing, delivery, and documentation to ensure compliance.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives, value engineering opportunities, and continuous process improvements.
• Manage end-to-end contract processes including review, negotiation, vetting, execution and record maintenance.
• Coordinate tender, RFQ, RFP and quotation processes in accordance with policy.

Procurement Executive (Indirect Materials)

Support sourcing and procurement activities across direct categories to ensure the timely acquisition of quality products and services at the best value for KFC, Pizza Hut, QSR Manufacturing, and Region Food Industries. This role ensures compliance with company policies, operational requirements, and procurement standards while contributing to cost optimization, supplier management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Source materials, products, and services to meet business requirements while identifying and evaluating alternative suppliers to strengthen the sourcing base.

Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Quality Assurance (QA), Operations, Marketing, and other relevant departments to align procurement activities with business needs.

Liaise with suppliers on product specifications, pricing, delivery requirements, and documentation to ensure compliance with business and regulatory standards.

Drive cost-saving initiatives, value engineering opportunities, and continuous process improvements across procurement activities.

Manage the end-to-end contract process, including review, negotiation, vetting, execution, and record maintenance.

Coordinate and administer tender, RFQ, RFP, and quotation processes in accordance with procurement policies and procedures.

Oversee supplier onboarding activities, including vendor registration, due diligence, NDA execution, and supplier agreement management.

Prepare and present monthly reports on procurement performance, supplier performance, cost-saving achievements, and strategic sourcing initiatives.

Support procurement and supply chain-related projects, operational activities, and any other duties assigned by management from time to time.

Job Requirement:

Minimum Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or related field.

At least 2 years of experience in Procurement or Purchasing, ideally within the FMCG or food-related activities.

Communicates clearly and respectfully, listens actively, and encourages open dialogue to strengthen team performance.

Strong communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders and suppliers at all levels.

Solid negotiation skills to secure the best value while maintaining supplier relationships.

Analytical thinking with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and support strategic decision-making.
