Job summary

SK Nexilis Malaysia is seeking a Procurement Executive to support import purchasing activities, focusing on payment settlement, shipment tracking, and customs clearance support. The role works closely with freight forwarders and customs brokers to monitor shipments from departure to delivery and ensure documents and payments are processed accurately and on schedule.

• Bachelor's degree (any field) or equivalent.
• English proficiency sufficient to read trade documents and correspond by email.
• Internship or project experience in trade, logistics, or procurement.

Responsibilities

• Manage payment schedules and process disbursement requests for import transactions (T/T, L/C)
• Verify commercial invoices against purchase order terms, including unit price, quantity, and payment conditions
• Confirm applied exchange rates and coordinate with the Finance Team on settlement records
• Monitor supplier production and release schedules, and manage booking timelines
• Track B/L issuance, ETD, and ETA with forwarders, and follow up on delayed shipments
• Communicate expected arrival dates internally and elevate schedule changes promptly

The Procurement Executive supports the execution of the company's import purchasing activities, with primary responsibility for payment settlement, shipment tracking, and customs clearance support.
