Job summary

SK Nexilis Malaysia is seeking a quality assurance specialist to manage IQC and SQA activities for new and mass production materials, focusing on preventing supply chain quality risks and driving continuous improvement.

You will ensure stable raw material and packaging material quality through supplier quality management, nonconformance control, data analysis, and compliance with customer requirements, while mentoring inspectors and coordinating supplier audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or a related technical field.
• Proficiency in English.
• Experience in IQC/SQA within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Experience in automotive or battery materials industries is preferred.
• Knowledge and practical experience with SPC and MSA.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming quality inspection and review COA (Certificate of analysis).
• Manage inspection data, quality issues and drive continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain inspection standards and provide training for inspectors.
• Manage supplier quality activities including evaluation, periodic audits, NC management, change control, KPI monitoring.
• Conduct quality system assessments for new suppliers.

Duties/Responsibilities

Perform incoming quality inspection and review C.O.A (Certificate of analysis)

Manage inspection data, quality issue and drive continuous improvement activities

Maintain inspection standards and provide training for inspectors

Manage supplier quality activities including Evaluation, Periodic audit, NC management, Change control, KPI monitoring

Conduct quality system assessments for new suppliers

Requirements/Qualifications
