Job summary

SYNERLITZ (MALAYSIA) SDN BHD is seeking a Procurement Executive to support the procurement team with PRs and POs, supplier sourcing, and documentation. You will ensure accuracy, compliance with approval workflows, and timely processing of requisitions.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in business or supply chain, fresh graduates welcome, proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and strong communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required (Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering or related).
• Fresh graduate or less than 1 year of experience.
• CGPA as per programme requirement (typically minimum 3.0).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and processing Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO).
• Identify and source potential suppliers/vendors and obtain quotations.
• Support vendor communication for order confirmation, delivery schedules, and follow-ups.
• Maintain procurement records and documentation (PO, invoices, delivery orders, contracts).
• Update procurement tracking sheets/systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, ERP).
• Contribute to basic market research and price benchmarking.
• Support cost-saving initiatives by identifying alternative suppliers or bulk opportunities.
• Liaise with warehouse/store personnel to confirm stock levels and delivery status.
• Follow up on delayed deliveries or discrepancies between PO and GRN.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement SOP, and regulations.

This role involves supporting the procurement team in purchasing, vendor sourcing, documentation, and compliance activities. You will assist in processing purchase requisitions and orders, identifying suppliers, maintaining procurement records, conducting market analysis, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

Key responsibilities

Assist in preparing and processing Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO), ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal approval workflow

Assist in identifying and sourcing potential suppliers/vendors and obtain and compare quotations from suppliers for pricing, quality, and delivery terms

Support vendor communication for order confirmation, delivery schedules, and follow-ups

Maintain proper filing and documentation of procurement records (PO, invoices, delivery orders, contracts)

Update procurement tracking sheets/system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or internal ERP)

Assist in basic market research and price benchmarking for goods/services

Support cost-saving initiatives by identifying alternative suppliers or bulk purchase opportunities

Liaise with warehouse/store personnel to confirm stock levels and delivery status

Follow up on delayed deliveries or discrepancies between PO and Goods Received Note (GRN)

Ensure procurement activities comply with Company policies, procurement SOP, and relevant regulations

About you

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or related field

Fresh graduate or with less than 1 year of working experience

CGPA as per programme requirement (typically minimum 3.0)

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
