We are looking for a Procurement Executive to manage sourcing and purchasing activities for our new manufacturing facility.
The position will support procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, spare parts, engineering items, services, consumables and general plant requirements, while ensuring cost competitiveness, quality and timely delivery.
Handle sourcing and purchasing activities for assigned materials, equipment and services.
Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, delivery and service.
Request, review and compare supplier quotations.
Prepare quotation comparisons and procurement recommendations.
Negotiate pricing, commercial terms and delivery schedules.
Prepare and issue Purchase Orders.
Follow up suppliers to ensure materials and services are delivered on time.
Coordinate closely with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, QA/QC, Warehouse, Finance and other departments.
Support procurement of:
Raw materials
Packaging materials
Mechanical and electrical spare parts
Chemicals
PPE and safety items
General factory supplies
Contracted services
Assist with supplier qualification and evaluation.
Maintain approved supplier information and procurement records.
Monitor open Purchase Orders and outstanding deliveries.
Resolve supplier issues, shortages, discrepancies and delivery delays.
Coordinate documentation for local and overseas purchases.
Support import-related purchases and freight coordination where required.
Ensure purchases comply with company approval procedures.
Maintain accurate purchasing records in the ERP system.
Assist with cost-saving and alternative-sourcing initiatives.
Support annual contracts and service agreements.
Prepare procurement reports and spend analysis when required.
Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related discipline.
Minimum 3–5 years of procurement / purchasing experience.
Manufacturing or process-industry experience is preferred.
Experience purchasing engineering spare parts, equipment, consumables or production materials is an advantage.
Good supplier-sourcing and negotiation skills.
Strong quotation-comparison and cost-analysis ability.
Familiarity with Purchase Orders, delivery terms and procurement procedures.
Experience using ERP systems is preferred.
Strong communication, negotiation and follow-up skills.
Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple urgent requirements.
Able to work independently in a fast-paced plant start-up environment
