IKD Limited in Johor, Malaysia seeks a hands-on manufacturing engineer to monitor die casting parameters, coordinate daily operations and ensure line performance.
You will maintain SOPs, train operators, reconcile production data, and support IATF 16949 audits and customer inspections. The role requires Mandarin and English and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced machining environment.

Education: Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic, Manufacturing, or equivalent).
Experience:Minimum 1–2 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment.Direct exposure to High-Pressure Die Casting (HPDC) operations or precision machining is highly preferred.
Audit Exposure:Direct experience working within anIATF 16949certified environment. Experience facing or supportingCustomer Audits from major manufacturing/automotive clients is a significant advantage.
Language Skills:Proficiency in spoken and written Mandarin and English is highly preferred, as the role requires daily technical communication and documentation alignment with teams based in China.
Strong communication skill and ability to work independently.

Process Monitoring & Parameter Control: Conduct routine on-site operation of die casting machine parameters (injection speeds, locking pressure, melting temperatures) to ensure the line runs smoothly, stably, and securely.
On-Site Coordination: Act as the technical coordinator to distribute daily operational assignments, machine allocations, and specialized process tasks to operators and technicians based on the production schedule.
SOP Management & Optimization: Maintain, update, and manage manual Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WI). Ensure complex technical steps for die setup, machine operations, and defect handling are clear and strictly followed by the team.
Training & Mentorship: Conduct hands‑on technical training for new and existing operators on standard operating processes, safety protocols, and correct handling of die casting machinery to reduce human‑error defects.
Productivity Reconciliation: Collect, reconcile, and analyze daily production data (Target vs. Actual Output). Identify variances caused by cycle‑time drops, machine downtime, or high scrap rates, and compile reports for review.
Audit Compliance Support:Support the engineering department duringIATF 16949 and Customer Audits by ensuring on-site operations strictly align with written manual SOPs and training records.
