Job summary

Asia Recruit is seeking a Manufacturing/Process Engineer to provide technical support and sustain engineering for production. The role focuses on improving manufacturing techniques, introducing new processes and equipment, and coordinating tests across teams in Asia and beyond.

The candidate will drive quality initiatives toward ISO 9001 certification, assist in product transfers, and lead process design improvements with data-driven analysis and problem-solving tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalents.
• Minimum 2 years related experience, at least 2 years in a manufacturing particularly in Operations, Engineering or Maintenance.
• Specific Training about ISO 9001 standards.
• Good working knowledge of manufacturing analytical tools such as 6 Sigma, QC Tools. FMEA, SPC, APQP, etc.
• Experience in Manufacturing Organization, preferably the areas of Engineering and Production/Operations.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for technical support, development sustaining engineering.
• Improves manufacturing techniques, introduces new process/equipment for production, continually makes incremental, measurable improvement in the process.
• Coordinates, performs and reports on manufacturing tests and experiments.
• Works closely with Philippines and Switzerland team for proper coordination and support for various production projects and other issues.
• Drive and support quality initiatives designed to attain ISO-9001 certification, and other related international certification requirements.
• Provides process engineering know-how and support for new developments and new product line introductions
• Leads/supports in the process design and improvement, productivity analysis, root cause analysis, lineset-up and balancing as well as general trouble shooting
• Performs tests, collects data, analyze and compiles reports on engineering research using various manufacturing tools, such as 6 sigma and other Problem solving and QC tools.
• Coordinates activities, launched by Headquarters aimed to validate the production process before mass production, including but not limited to Engineering and Quality tools, confirming new machines validation (test campaign and experiments).
• Leads in the development of transfer plans with the direction from Eng (HQ) and the proper execution of the transfer to complete the set-up/start-up.
• Determines and implements improvements to the production process implements and enforce quality control and tracking programs to meet quality objectives
