Job summary

Venture Corporation Limited in Malaysia is seeking a Process Engineer to develop, implement, and optimize PCBA manufacturing processes from NPI through mass production. You will lead line setup, tooling planning, and equipment selection to ensure quality and efficiency.

You will drive yield improvements, support DFM and ECN updates, and provide technical guidance to technicians while applying lean manufacturing principles for continuous improvement and meeting production targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline relevant to PCBA manufacturing.
• 1–2 years of experience in process engineering within PCBA/EMS/electronics manufacturing.
• Experience supporting NPI and mass production is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing processes, work instructions, and assembly procedures for PCBA products.
• Lead process engineering activities for NPI projects, including production line setup, tooling planning, equipment selection, and layout planning.
• Support DFM activities and provide manufacturing input during product development.
• Investigate manufacturing issues, conduct failure analysis, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Drive process optimization, yield improvement, cycle time reduction, and productivity enhancement initiatives.
• Coordinate ECN implementations and product design updates.
• Design and validate production equipment, tooling, and fixtures to improve quality and operator safety.
• Monitor manufacturing performance data and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Provide technical guidance and training to technicians and production personnel on manufacturing processes and best practices.
• Apply lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and quality.
• Participate in production and yield review meetings to resolve engineering issues and support targets.

• Coordinate implementation of engineering changes (ECN) and product design updates.

• Monitor and analyze manufacturing performance data and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Provide technical guidance and training to technicians and production personnel on manufacturing processes and best practices.

EDUCATION AND RELATED SKILLS

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Process Engineering within PCBA, EMS, or electronics manufacturing environment.
• Experience supporting NPI and mass production activities is an advantage.
