Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an NPI engineer to assist in designing and developing process drawings for new products. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure processes meet customer requirements and safety standards, and you will help optimize manufacturing capability and production volume while maintaining quality.

Responsibilities include preparing engineering documentation such as FMEA, PCP, WI, PI, process changes and maintaining cutting programs with CAD/CAM for sheet metal parts,

Qualifications

• Assist NPI engineers in designing and developing process drawings.
• Improve process capability and production volume while maintaining quality standards.
• Prepare and maintain detailed engineering documentation including FMEA, PCP, WI, PI, process drawing, process changes, procedure and process standard for new product and review from time to time to ensure the effectiveness.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure products meets customer requirement and specification.
• Provide technical support including jig and fixture for productions operation to resolve process issue.
• Ensure all process comply with relevant safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
• Analyze manufacturing process and identify areas for improvement.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives, offering suggestions for enhancing efficiency, reduce waste, and improving overall quality.
• To create and modify cutting programs using CAD/CAM software to ensure accuracy and efficiency in the production of sheet metal parts.

• Coordinate with external suppliers and vendors as needed to overcome process or technical issues.
• Study the new project from customer and revert to marketing team if face design or process limitation, unsuitable for MP, and process capability issue.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that deadlines and project specifications are met.
• Study on Continuous Improvement Program related to process improvement.
• Ensure the 5S activities carried out properly.
• Others duties assigned by the Management from time to time.
