Job summary

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize and improve plastic injection moulding and assembly processes to meet quality, productivity and cost targets.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production and assembly process issues and implement corrective actions.
• Establish and maintain process parameters, work instructions and process standards.
• Support new product development, trials and process validation.
• Drive process improvement to reduce cycle time, rejects and costs.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering and Maintenance to resolve issues.
• Monitor machine and process performance and recommend enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements.

About the role

We are seeking a Process Engineer to join our engineering team in Sungai Petani, Kedah on a full-time basis.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, optimize and improve plastic injection moulding and assembly processes to achieve quality, productivity and cost targets.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production and assembly process issues and implement effective corrective actions.
• Establish and maintain process parameters, work instructions and process standards.
• Support new product development, trial runs and process validation.
• Conduct process improvement activities to reduce cycle time, rejection and production costs.
• Work closely with Production, Quality, Engineering and Maintenance teams to resolve process-related issues.
• Monitor machine and process performance and recommend improvement actions.
• Support continuous improvement activities and ensure compliance with company quality and safety requirements.

What we’re looking for

• Minimum Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years of working experience in a related field will be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of process improvement and problem-solving.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Good communication, teamwork and analytical skills.
