Job summary

SoftwareOne, in partnership with Crayon, is seeking a Presales Solution Architect - Azure to design impactful Azure solutions and drive business outcomes for customers.

You will work with sales, technical specialists, and delivery teams to understand requirements, craft architecture, and support opportunities from qualification through contract signature.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and positioning cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, security, networking, migration, modernization, and governance.
• Ability to translate complex technical requirements into business-focused solutions.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to balance customer outcomes with business objectives.
• A collaborative and consultative approach to working with customers and internal teams.
• Strong documentation and presentation skills, including clear design and content.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales teams to qualify opportunities and develop Azure solution strategies.
• Facilitate discovery workshops to understand objectives, requirements, and challenges.
• Design scalable Azure architectures aligned with customer goals and technical needs.
• Develop and present solution proposals, business cases, demonstrations, and technical presentations.
• Work with internal teams, Microsoft, and partners to ensure feasibility and delivery readiness.
• Support customers and stakeholders with technical guidance and recommendations during the sales process.

We're looking for a Presales Solution Architect - Azure to work closely with customers, sales teams, and technical specialists to design impactful Azure solutions and drive successful business outcomes.

As a Presales Solution Architect - Azure, you will engage with customers to understand their business and technical requirements, design tailored Azure solutions, and support opportunities from qualification through to contract signature. You will act as a trusted advisor, guiding customers through their cloud transformation initiatives and ensuring a seamless transition to delivery teams upon project award.

Key Responsibilities
