Job summary
CGL Consulting Co., Ltd in Malaysia is seeking a technically strong Pre-Sales / Solutions Engineer to support customer engagement, solution development, and regional growth across Southeast Asia. The role focuses on AI-driven industrial energy optimization and intelligent control solutions.
You will translate complex technical concepts into business value, deliver technical demonstrations, and collaborate with customers, partners, and internal teams.
Qualifications
- Fluent in English and Mandarin; able to communicate with regional customers and China team.
- Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering or related discipline.
- Experience in pre-sales, solution engineering, or technical sales in industrial automation.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand technical requirements and energy-efficiency goals.
- Develop and present technical solutions for industrial energy optimization and control applications.
- Assess existing systems with customers and partners to identify optimization opportunities.
- Support technical presentations, proof-of-concept projects, and solution validation.
- Provide input for proposals, scoping, and commercial discussions, translating tech concepts to business value.
- Assist in project implementation and post-sales coordination to ensure delivery.
- Monitor market trends and competitor offerings to identify regional business opportunities.
