Job summary

VSTECS Ku Sdn Bhd is seeking a Pre-Sales Engineer in Kota Damansara, Selangor. You will collaborate with the sales team, translate customer needs into technical solutions, and perform product demonstrations.

You will prepare BOMs, proposals, and technical specs while staying current with IT trends and your product portfolio. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in pre-sales, strong IT knowledge in Enterprise Networking, Security, and Cloud computing, plus excellent communication and presentation

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years in a pre-sales or technical sales role in IT
• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Strong communication and presentation skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Proven problem-solving and analytical abilities with creative solutioning

About the role

As a Pre Sales Engineer at VSTECS Ku Sdn Bhd, you will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team and driving the company's success. This is a full-time position based in Kota Damansara, Selangor, where you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and solutions to meet the needs of our customers.

What you'll be doing

Collaborating closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions

Conducting product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the capabilities and features of our products and services

Providing pre-sales support, including preparing bill of materials, proposals and technical specifications

Maintaining a deep understanding of the product portfolio and the latest industry trends

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in a pre-sales or technical sales role in the Information Technology industry

Good technical knowledge and understanding of IT solutions, such as Enterprise Networking, Security, Cloud Computing, etc.

Fresh graduates who passionate to be a solution consultant are encouraged to apply.

Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Proven problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively and provide innovative solutions

Strong customer service orientation and the ability to build long-lasting relationships with clients
