Job summary

Titan System Integration Sdn Bhd is seeking a Junior IT Pre-Sales Consultant to join our growing team in Malaysia.

You will work with Sales and Senior Pre-Sales to translate customer needs into practical IT infrastructure solutions, gain hands-on exposure to enterprise environments, and grow toward an independent Pre-Sales role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• 0–2 years of IT experience; fresh graduates welcome.
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure: compute/servers, storage, backup.
• Able to explain technical concepts clearly and communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer requirements and translate them into IT solutions.
• Assist in preparing proposals, diagrams, presentations, and BOQ.
• Support solution sizing, product selection, and technical validation.
• Engage with vendors/distributors for information, pricing, and availability.
• Assist in submitting quotations, RFQs, tenders, and bids.
• Collaborate with Sales and Senior Pre-Sales to present solutions.

As a Junior IT Pre-Sales Consultant, you will work closely with our Sales and Senior Pre-Sales team to understand customer requirements and support the development of practical IT solutions.

You will gain hands‑on exposure to real‑world enterprise IT environments and work with customers, vendors, distributors, and senior technical team members.

What You’ll Be Doing

Assist the Sales team in understanding customer business and technical requirements.

Assist in translating customer requirements into suitable IT infrastructure solutions.

Support the preparation of technical proposals, solution diagrams, presentations, and costing / Bill of Quantity (BOQ).

Assist with solution sizing, product selection, and technical validation.

Engage with vendors and distributors to obtain technical information, solution sizing, availability, and pricing.

Support the preparation of quotations, RFQs, tenders, and project bids.

Assist in preparing solution presentations and co-present solutions to customers together with Senior Pre-Sales team members.

Research and learn about new IT technologies, products, and solutions.

Work closely with the Sales and technical teams to ensure proposed solutions meet customer requirements.

Continuously develop technical and communication skills to progress towards an independent Pre-Sales Consultant role.

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

0–2 years of experience in IT.

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Candidates currently working in IT Support, System Engineer, or related technical roles who are interested in moving into IT Pre-Sales are encouraged to apply.

Solid academic or foundational understanding of IT infrastructure, particularly:

Compute / Servers

Storage

Backup

Basic understanding of enterprise IT environments.

Able to explain basic technical concepts in a simple and understandable manner.

Good communication skills and confidence in interacting with customers.

Strong willingness to learn, positive attitude, and ability to work as part of a team.

Technical Knowledge & Skills

Basic familiarity with solutions and technologies such as:

Veeam

VMware

Microsoft

Fortinet

Familiarity with Microsoft Storage Spaces Direct (S2D) or Dell PowerStore will be an added advantage.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly:

Microsoft Excel – for costing and BOQ preparation

Microsoft Visio – for solution diagrams

Microsoft PowerPoint – for presentations

Bonus Points

Entry-level vendor certifications such as VMware VCTA, Microsoft AZ-900, or equivalent entry-level network/security certifications.

Hands‑on lab experience with VMware, servers, storage, backup, networking, or firewalls.

Academic projects or personal projects related to IT infrastructure.

Previous exposure to proposal preparation, technical documentation, or customer discussions.

Experience working with IT vendors or distributors.
