We are seeking a dynamic and proactive PR, Event & Brand Executive to support the planning and execution of communication strategies, brand initiatives, and event activations that strengthen KK Supermart’s reputation and customer engagement. This role combines public relations, branding, and event management responsibilities, offering a well-rounded exposure to marketing communications.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Public Relations & Corporate Communications
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, influencers, and media outlets.
- Draft and distribute press releases, media kits, speeches, and corporate statements.
- Monitor media coverage, industry news, and competitor PR activities, preparing regular reports.
- Support crisis communication efforts and ensure consistency in KK Supermart’s brand voice.
- Collaborate with the social media team to amplify PR and brand stories online.
Events & Activations
- Plan, coordinate, and execute new store openings, CSR programs, brand activations, and corporate events.
- Liaise with vendors, agencies, and internal teams to manage event logistics and budgets.
- Ensure all events reflect KK Supermart’s brand standards and deliver impactful customer engagement.
- Prepare post-event evaluations and suggest improvements for future activities.
Branding & Marketing Support
- Assist in developing and implementing brand marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Ensure all marketing materials and communication align with corporate identity guidelines.
- Support both digital and in-store promotional activities to enhance brand visibility.
- Monitor brand performance, market trends, and consumer behaviour to provide actionable insights.
- Manage social media content, engagement, and collaborations to maintain a strong online presence.
Monitoring & Reporting
- Track and analyze the effectiveness of PR, branding, and event initiatives using KPIs.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on media coverage, brand engagement, and event outcomes.
General
- Carry out any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the superior to support departmental objectives.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in PR, branding, events, or marketing communications.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an advantage).
- Knowledge of digital marketing, social media management, and current PR/event trends.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and interpersonal skills.
- Creative, resourceful, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to work flexible hours during events and campaigns.
