Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Service Engineer to impact clients by supporting electrical switchgear, relays, PLCs, HMIs, gateways and servers onsite. You will document failures, propose innovative solutions during start-ups, and assist service partners to ensure high performance for customers in the ENMCS/IMCS environment.

With 3+ years in onsite service, you will help identify opportunities at customer sites and collaborate with sales.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical & Communication Engineering.
• 3+ years in services onsite environment.
• Experience with power system products including low/medium voltage and 33kV transformers.
• ENMCS/IMCS knowledge is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support Schneider equipment including switchgear, relays, PLCs, HMIs, gateways and servers onsite.
• Document, label and return defective parts to disposal/repair location.
• Develop solutions to complex start-up problems.
• Research and recommend product upgrades meeting customer needs.
• Assist Service Partners in site visits and evaluate performance.
• Identify new business opportunities at customer sites and route to sales.
