Job summary

Siemens Energy, a global leader in energy technology, seeks a Field Service Engineer to deliver on-site installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of high voltage transmission equipment. You will diagnose complex issues, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with engineering and sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction and product improvements.

The role requires a strong technical background, travel flexibility, and commitment to safety and quality standards in demanding field

Qualifications

Electrical degree or equivalent with 7+ years in HV field service.
Knowledge of HV transmission equipment (transformers, AIS/GIS, breakers).
Proficiency with diagnostic tools and testing equipment; able to use remote headset tech.

Responsibilities

Provide technical field advice and supervise installation, commissioning, maintenance, upgrades, refurbishment, and repair of HV equipment in the field.
Diagnose issues in HV transmission equipment and identify solutions.
Provide technical support to customers and internal teams; feedback for product improvements.
Develop and maintain documentation such as service reports, logs, method statements, and HSE records.
Act as Siemens Energy representative on site; coordinate scope and sign off works; mentor junior engineers.
Provide customer training on routine maintenance and ensure service work meets customer expectations.
Adhere to Quality and HSE protocols while working on HV systems.
