Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking a proactive sales professional to grow our business by securing new project clients and managing key accounts in the heavy machinery and power generator sector.

You will collaborate with clients to understand equipment needs, prepare quotes, and coordinate with internal engineers to ensure timely delivery and installation at client sites. Strong communication and closing skills, plus travel readiness, are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 3–4 years sales experience in power generators, machinery, or electrical systems.
• Existing contacts with M&E contractors, site managers, or factory owners.
• Willingness to travel for site visits and own transport.

Responsibilities

• Find new business leads in construction, data centers, and industrial factories
• Visit customer sites to check project requirements and send cost quotes
• Negotiate prices and close sales contracts with project managers
• Work with our engineering team to ensure smooth machine delivery and setup
• Build good relationships with clients to get repeat orders for spare parts and service contracts
• Travel locally to meet clients and visit project sites
