WCM Machinery Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Sales Executive with a sales-driven mindset and technical flair to grow our generator set solutions across construction, government, oil & gas, utilities and events. You’ll build strong client relationships, present solutions, and close deals.

The role offers a competitive base salary with a generous commission, plus medical insurance, ongoing training, and clear career progression in a growing industrial machinery business.

Competenze

• 2+ years in a sales engineering or technical sales role, preferably in machinery or industrial equipment.
• Solid grasp of electrical engineering principles and product specifications.

What you’ll be doing?

• Identifying new opportunities: Actively prospect and uncover new sales leads within the local market, helping to drive the company's continued growth.
• Showcasing solutions: Conduct engaging sales presentations and product demonstrations that highlight the innovative generator set solutions on offer.
• Supporting clients technically: Provide hands‑on technical guidance and support to clients, ensuring their specific needs are understood and met.
• Closing deals: Negotiate and finalise sales contracts, balancing profitability with strong client satisfaction.
• Collaborating across teams: Work closely with engineering and operations colleagues to deliver a seamless and exceptional customer experience.
• Keeping records organised: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and pipeline progress.
• Representing the brand: Take part in trade shows and industry events, helping to promote the company's products and build its presence in the market.

Who are they looking for?

• Sales and technical experience: At least 2 years of experience in a sales engineering or technical sales role, ideally within the machinery or industrial equipment industry, is preferred.
