Job summary

KAMCO Aluminium Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a Production Planner for the powder coating line. You will develop and execute daily and weekly schedules aligned with extrusion outputs, sales orders and shipping timelines, and direct the paint/powder coat section.

• 1–2 years of production planning or scheduling experience
• Deep understanding of electrostatic powder application processes, curing oven cycles, and aluminium profile handling
• Excellent analytical problem-solving, strong verbal and written communication, and the ability to make rapid tactical decisions under tight deadlines

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute daily and weekly powder coating production schedules aligned with extrusion outputs, sales orders, and shipping timelines
• Direct the paint/powder coat section
• Monitor and manage stock levels of powder coating resins, pretreatment chemicals, masking tapes, and packaging supplies to ensure uninterrupted line operations
• Supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in painting and powder coating trailers
• Work closely with Extrusion Planners, QA inspectors, and Warehouse teams to resolve production bottlenecks and schedule disruptions
• Generate operational reports tracking daily throughput (square meters & square foot), line efficiency, downtime metrics, and reject/rework rates
• Guide and support production workers in completing daily tasks
• Follow company procedures, safety regulations, and production requirements

About you

Cert/Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Operations, or a related technical discipline

Minimum of 1–2 years of production planning or scheduling experience, ideally within an aluminium extrusion, surface finishing, or heavy manufacturing environment

Deep understanding of electrostatic powder application processes, curing oven cycles, and aluminium profile handling

Excellent analytical problem-solving skills, strong verbal and written communication, and the ability to make rapid tactical decisions under tight deadlines
