Job summary

Evergrown Technology Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a detail‑oriented Production Planner to manage daily loading, line sequencing and inventory control within our coating and surface treatment lines.

You will coordinate with Line Supervisor on maintenance, downtime and material handling, ensuring on‑time delivery and accurate BOM/DO/consignment records. The role requires 2–4 years in a coating/plating environment, strong ERP skills (AutoCount, SQL Account, SAP B1), and fluent BM/English.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Manufacturing, Chemical/Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or related field.
• 2-4 years as PC/Production Planner in coating/plating/painting/anodising or surface treatment lines.
• Good English and BM; able to communicate on shop floor and in reports.
• Hands-on with ERP systems (AutoCount, SQL Account, SAP B1) and inventory/consignment handling.

Responsibilities

• Receive delivery notes/POs and plan daily loading by part, quantity and due date.
• Plan hanger/rack loading to maximise line fill rate.
• Sequence jobs to minimise changeovers and optimise processing steps.
• Schedule rework/re-coat and stripping with minimal disruption to main production
• Coordinate line downtime for maintenance and chemical top-up with Line Supervisor
• Update daily schedules and alert Sales to delays
• Maintain traceability records for audits and PPAP/ISO requirements
• Prepare reporting on weekly and monthly KPIs (OTD, backlog, downtime, inventory value)

Job description

Receive customer delivery notes/POs and plan daily loading by part, quantity and due date

Plan hanger/rack loading to maximise line fill rate (pcs per hanger, hangers per hour) based on line speed and part size

Sequence jobs to minimise changeovers (part geometry, jig change, film thickness spec, curing profile)

Schedule rework/re-coat and stripping jobs without disrupting main production

Coordinate line downtime for bath maintenance, tank cleaning and chemical top-up with Line Supervisor

Update daily delivery schedule and alert Sales early on any delay

2. Customer Part Control (Consigned Stock)

Record incoming customer parts accurately at receiving — part no., qty, customer DO no., condition (rust, damage, oil)

Ensure full reconciliation per lot: Qty In = Good Out + Reject + Rework + Balance on Hand

Report damaged/non-conforming incoming parts to customer before processing

Prepare outgoing DO and support billing data (pcs, m² or per-hanger basis)

3. Chemical & Consumable Inventory

Maintain stock of ED paint (resin, pigment paste), pretreatment chemicals (degreaser, zirconium/phosphate, activator), DI water consumables, masking, hangers/jigs and packaging

Track chemical consumption vs throughput (e.g. kg paint per 1,000 m² or per 1,000 pcs) and flag abnormal usage

Set and monitor reorder levels considering supplier lead time and shelf life

Apply FIFO and track batch/expiry dates of chemicals

Raise PRs to Purchaser; verify GRN against PO

Monthly stock count of chemicals and consumables; explain variances

4. Reporting (Excel + System)

Weekly: OTD %, backlog by customer, line downtime summary

Monthly: customer part reconciliation, chemical consumption ratio, reject/rework rate by customer and defect type, inventory value

5. Compliance

Maintain traceability records for customer audits and PPAP/automotive requirements

Follow ISO/QMS, SOPs and chemical handling (SDS, CHRA) requirements in coordination with ESH Officer

KPIs

Chemical consumption within ±5% of standard

Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Manufacturing, Chemical/Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or related

2-4 years as PC/Production Planner in a coating, plating, painting, anodising or surface treatment line (job-coater environment strongly preferred)

Understands ED process flow (pretreatment, electrodeposition, UF rinse, curing) at a working level

Inventory/ERP system (must): hands-on with AutoCount, SQL Account, SAP B1 or similar, including consignment/customer-owned stock handling

BM and English required

Meticulous with numbers; comfortable working on the shop floor
