Job summary

PSI Pneumatic Control Sdn Bhd is seeking a results-oriented Sales Engineer based on Penang Island. You will build client relationships, tailor pneumatic control solutions, and drive sales growth across the region.

The role requires a engineering degree (or technical diploma with 3 years of related experience), strong communication and presentation skills, and willingness to travel regionally to meet customers. You will collaborate with our technical team to deliver winning proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a Diploma/associate's degree in a technical field combined with 3 years of directly related engineering experience will also be considered.
• Sales experience in pneumatic or industrial automation will be an added advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to understand customer requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to engage with clients.
• Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel within the region to meet with customers.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage with potential customers to understand their business needs and recommend suitable products and services
• Prepare detailed sales proposals and quotations tailored to customer requirements
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase features and benefits
• Manage the sales pipeline, track customer interactions, and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with the technical team to provide post-sales support and troubleshoot any customer issues
• Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand our customer base
• Attend industry events and stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor activities
