Job summary

Lam Soon is seeking a Technical Support lead for Machinery, Utility & Facility in Selangor. You will drive maintenance projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure timely completion within budget while supporting continuous improvement and cost reduction.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting urgent issues, monitoring equipment, and implementing process improvements with a strong focus on safety and ISO/GMP/HACCP compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic/Industrial/Mechanical) or equivalent.
• Strong integrity and personal work standards; cross-cultural negotiation skills.
• Proactive self-starter capable of managing multiple projects/priorities.
• Experience with ISO, HALAL, HACCP, DOSH and BOMBA rules and audits.
• Out-of-the-box thinker who drives dynamism and new ideas.
• Excellent planning and project management skills; strong technical know-how.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and lead maintenance projects within budget and schedule.
• Troubleshoot urgent technical issues on the plant floor.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify potential issues before failures.
• Identify opportunities for equipment and process improvements; provide technical support.
• Assess cost effectiveness and implement efficiency improvements in manufacturing.
• Ensure safety and ISO/GMP/HACCP compliance across operations.
• Provide leadership for manufacturing operations and manage quality control.
