Job summary

Wipro Consumer Care (LDW) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance across Subang and Kajang factories. You will ensure safe, reliable and efficient operation of machinery, utilities and facilities while driving preventive and predictive maintenance.

You will build a high-performing team, manage budgets, drive continuous improvement, and ensure ISO and GMP compliance in collaboration with Production, QC and Engineering for capacity growth and long-term performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years in manufacturing with hands-on maintenance and facilities management.
• Sound knowledge of preventive maintenance, breakdown management, root cause analysis and equipment reliability.
• Good knowledge of ISO and GMP requirements and safety/regulatory standards in manufacturing.
• Demonstrated leadership and people-management capabilities.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; able to drive improvements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance activities for Subang & Kajang factories and overall buildings to ensure safe, efficient operation of machinery, utilities and facilities.
• Develop preventive and predictive maintenance plans; monitor execution.
• Lead maintenance technicians and contractors for timely breakdown response and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and GMP requirements.
• Monitor equipment performance and implement continuous improvement to reduce downtime.
• Manage maintenance budget, spare parts inventory and cost control.
• Coordinate equipment installation, modification and commissioning projects.
• Collaborate with Production, Warehouse, QC, Engineering and other departments.
