Job summary

YAN SHEUNG (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. is seeking a maintenance technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and equipment, troubleshoot breakdowns, and support installation and commissioning of new assets.

You will monitor performance, keep maintenance records, ensure compliance with food safety standards, and assist internal/external audits while maintaining safe, clean workplaces.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or related field.
• SKM Level 2/3 in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance or equivalent encouraged to apply.
• Fresh graduates with relevant technical qualifications welcome to apply.
• Experience in manufacturing or food manufacturing environment is an advantage.
• Possession of a valid ST Wireman Certificate PW2/PW4 is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair machine breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
• Carry out maintenance of building facilities including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire protection systems.
• Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Maintain maintenance records, checklists, and related documentation.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with food safety, quality, and safety requirements.
• Support internal and external audits related to maintenance and engineering activities.
• Monitor spare parts inventory and report stock replenishment requirements.
• Maintain good housekeeping and workplace safety standards.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

Job Requirements

• Candidates possessing a SKM (Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia) Level 2 or 3 in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or equivalent are encouraged to apply.
• Fresh graduates with relevant technical qualifications are welcome to apply.
• Experience in manufacturing or food manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.
• Possession of a valid Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) Wireman Certificate (PW2/PW4) will be an added advantage.
