Our client, an established construction company, is seeking a Planning Engineer to join their team!

This is a great opportunity for an experienced planning professional to take ownership of project scheduling and progress management within a dynamic construction environment. Based in Ulu Tiram, Johor, this role offers the chance to develop detailed project schedules, monitor progress closely, and provide regular reporting to project managers and stakeholders, ensuring projects stay on track from start to finish.

What you'll be doing?

• Preparing project schedules — Develop a detailed schedule based on the specific requirements and goals of each project, ensuring all tasks can be completed on time through rational resource allocation, task decomposition, and timeline planning.
• Managing project progress — Closely monitor project progress during implementation, regularly checking whether actual progress aligns with the planned schedule, and take timely corrective measures when deviations occur.
• Assessing and managing risk — Analyse potential risk factors in the project, issue early warnings for risks that may affect progress, and propose corresponding strategies to reduce their impact.
• Preparing progress reports — Prepare regular progress reports, including weekly and monthly updates, to facilitate clear communication and coordination among the project manager and wider team.
