Job summary

IEM Dynamic Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Planner / Scheduler to join its project team in Pengerang, Johor. This contract/full-time role focuses on developing, updating, and maintaining schedules, progress reports, and look-ahead plans for oil and gas projects.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Degree in Engineering or Project Management with hands-on Primavera P6 and/or MS Project experience and strong coordination and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in engineering or related field.
• Experience in project planning and scheduling.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
• Experience with schedules, reports and look-ahead schedules.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update and maintain project schedules and progress tracking documents.
• Monitor progress against schedules and identify delays.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers and site teams for updates.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports and look-ahead schedules.
• Track milestones and critical activities to support timely completion.
• Analyse deviations and propose recovery actions.
• Maintain records of schedules, progress data and planning docs.
• Perform other planning duties as assigned by the Project Manager.

IEM Dynamic Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced and motivated Planner / Scheduler to join our project team in Pengerang, Johor.

Job Type: Contract / Full Time (Depending on project needs)

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, update, and maintain project schedules, work plans, and progress tracking documents.
• Monitor project progress against approved schedules and identify potential delays or scheduling issues.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to obtain progress updates and ensure accurate schedule reporting.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, look-ahead schedules, and planning documentation.
• Track project milestones, critical activities, and outstanding works to support timely project completion.
• Assist in analysing schedule deviations and proposing recovery plans where necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of project schedules, progress data, and planning documents.
• Perform other planning and scheduling duties as assigned by the Project Manager.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in project planning and scheduling, preferably in the oil and gas, petrochemical, or construction industry.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
• Experience in preparing project schedules, progress reports, and look-ahead schedules.
• Good understanding of project progress monitoring, scheduling, and reporting.
• Strong communication, coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams.
