Job summary

IJM Corporation Berhad in Penang/Kulim is seeking a capable Construction Planning professional to develop and maintain the master construction programme. You will monitor progress, identify delays and coordinate with project teams and subcontractors to resolve scheduling issues.

You will prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, track milestones and assess impacts from design changes. The role involves supporting resource planning and risk recovery planning on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 is a must.
• Site Engineer transitioning into planning role with basic Primavera P6 knowledge encouraged to apply.
• Good understanding of construction sequencing, critical path analysis and progress monitoring.
• Willing to be based at Penang/ Kulim, Kedah

Responsibilities

• Manage the master construction programme and keep it up-to-date.
• Monitor project progress, identify delays and propose corrective actions.
• Coordinate with project teams and subcontractors to collect updates and resolve issues.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports and forecasts.
• Track activities, sequences, milestones and critical paths.
• Assess schedule impacts from design changes and site issues.
• Participate in project meetings and coordinate planning activities.
• Support resource planning, risk assessment and recovery planning.
