IBRACO BERHAD, based in Kuching, Malaysia, is seeking a seasoned Project Planner to develop, monitor and optimize detailed schedules for medium to large-scale construction projects. You will coordinate with project managers, engineers and subcontractors to ensure alignment with baselines and timely progress updates.

You will prepare look-ahead and progress reports, perform CPM analysis, manage resources, and support risk mitigation and delay recovery actions across multiple concurrent projects.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Construction Management/Project Management or related discipline.
• Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in project planning and scheduling.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
• Strong knowledge of CPM, resource planning and progress measurement.
• Good analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work with cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

To develop, review and maintain detailed project schedules, work programs and planning reports.

To monitor project progress against approved baseline schedules and identify potential delays or risks.

To coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of project activities.

To prepare progress reports, look-ahead schedules, critical path analysis, and schedule forecasts.

To identify schedules deviations, assess their impact and recommend corrective and recovery actions.

To conduct regular progress review meetings and provide updates on project performance.

To support projects team in resource planning, work sequencing and overall schedule optimization.

To prepare and review planning documentation, including progress updates, S-curves and delay analysis reports.

To ensure project schedules are updated accurately and submitted within the required timelines.

Job Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Construction Management/Project Management or related discipline.

Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in project planning and scheduling.

Proficiency in project planning software such as Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.

Strong knowledge of project scheduling, critical path method (CPM), resource planning, and progress measurement.

Good analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Proven experience in developing and monitoring project schedules for medium to large-scale projects.

Experience in progress reporting, schedules analysis, risk identification, and delay mitigation.
