Job summary

GRAND VENTURE TECHNOLOGY (JOHOR) SDN. BHD. in Johor Bahru is seeking a Production Planning and Material Control specialist to optimize capacity and ensure timely delivery of products to customers.

You will work across teams to translate demand into actionable production plans and material requirements. You will analyze demand, develop material plans, and coordinate with procurement and production teams to align raw materials with forecasted sales.

Qualifications

• Analyze demand/forecast orders to determine capacity requirements.
• Coordinate with procurement to align raw materials with forecast.
• Experience in precision machining environment preferred.
• Knowledgeable with ERP software is an advantage.

Job description

Analyze demand/forecast order from customer to determine required capacity.

Make sure that the production plan is aligned with raw material to maximum efficiency in order to timely delivered products to customers' place.

Release and ensure proper production plan schedule in order to fully utilize existing machine to their optimum and track plan versus actual output.

Responsible for analyze forecast changes order from customers.

Analyze and prepare weekly / periodic reports for management.

To determine what, when and how much to order for raw materials based on sales forecast.

Develop material plan to meet customer's demands.

Develop and maintain material planning system.

Oversee and manage daily operations of various warehouse activities including planning, directing, controlling and coordinating.

Handle special projects as assigned.

ERP, Epicor or Planning Advance System

Requirements:

Degree / Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics/Engineering related field

Minimum 3 years of working experience in precision machining environment will be preferred

Knowledgeable ERP System Software will be an advantage

Resourceful in problem solving

A team player with Good interpersonal and communication skill

Able to work under pressure with minimum supervision

Meticulous with high accuracy in work submitted
