Job summary

GRAND VENTURE TECHNOLOGY (PENANG) SDN. BHD. is seeking a capable supply chain leader to develop and implement strategies that optimize cost, efficiency and reliability.

The role focuses on KPI definition, long-term planning, and driving improvements across procurement, logistics and inventory management. The successful candidate will leverage risk management to reduce costs, enhance business continuity and ensure alignment with the AOP objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in supply chain management, procurement, or logistics, with leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain principles and best practices especially in machining industry.
• Excellent problem-solving, negotiation and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work under fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize cost, efficiency and reliability.
• Define KPI, set long-term plans and identify areas for improvement.
• Oversee procurement and logistics management, including contract negotiations.
• Monitor inventory, forecasting and stock replenishment to prevent shortages or overages.
• Coordinate logistics, transportation and distribution for timely delivery.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with operations, finance and program teams to align processes with goals.
• Provide guidance and support to ensure team effectiveness and alignment with objectives.
• Manage budgets, cost control measures and process optimization to enhance profitability.

Job description

Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies to optimize cost, efficiency, and reliability. Strategies including setting long-term plans, defining KPI and identifying areas for improvement.

Leverages risk management expertise to optimize pricing, enhance business continuity, and drive cost reduction, ensuring alignment with Annual Operating Plan (AOP) objectives.

Oversee procurement and logistics management, ensuring strong relationships and contract negotiations.

Monitor inventory levels, demand forecasting, and stock replenishment to prevent shortages or overages.

Coordinate logistics, transportation, and distribution to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

Identify and mitigate supply chain risks while ensuring compliance with regulatory and company policies.

Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., operations, finance, and program) to align supply chain processes with business goals.

Provide guidance, coaching and support to ensure internal team’s effectiveness and alignment with organizational goals.

Manage budgets, cost control measures, and process optimization efforts to enhance overall profitability.

Job Requirements:
