Wentel Engineering Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Planner to manage production scheduling, from order receipt to finished goods delivery, using NAV/SAP and ERP planning tools.
The role focuses on creating Master Production Schedules, tracking workload, and coordinating with purchasing and production to optimize capacity and minimize waste. Training provided and a 5-day week are included.

Responsible for production scheduling by creating, tracking, and reporting on the current production status.
Responsible for the whole planning process, starting from receiving customers' orders, inventory check in NAV system, releasing orders for production runs until FG is delivered to the customer.
Prepare the Output Plan and Master Production Schedule (MPS) to monitor status.
Track and manage daily production workload.
Monitor, analyze, and report the performance of production activities.
Effectively plan to ensure minimum changeover in production and minimum wastage of production setup time due to the change planning schedule.
Coordinate with order management, purchaser, and production department in sequencing production.
Work closely with purchasing and production to work out the best production planning.
Provide a match set report, coordinate between the store and purchasing on material shortages.
Monitor production schedule and delivery issues and take corrective actions.
Utilize the NAV System to release production orders and close on time.
Monitor production MES traveller scan processes cycle time.
Responsible for production planning, capacity planning, and scheduling of production following customers.
Notify customer service of any schedule impacts to the customer.
Escalate on any delays and outages.
Customer ECR implementation and cut-off declaration.
Control WIP and FG Inventory Stock.
Prepare Monthly Inventory Report.
Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action for audit and status closure.
Provide continual improvement on planning and reporting processes.
Other responsibilities as assigned by the superior from time to time.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or equivalent experience in the manufacturing engineering field, required.
3 years of experience working in sheet metal fabrication manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.
