Grand Venture Technology is seeking a proactive Project Engineer to manage customer projects from enquiry to delivery, collaborating with customers and internal teams to meet technical, cost, and schedule targets.
The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and 2-5 years in project engineering within manufacturing, along with strong organizational and communication skills and familiarity with ERP systems.
Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and technically strong Project Engineer to manage customer projects from enquiry to delivery. You will work closely with customers and internal engineering, production, and technical teams to ensure projects meet technical requirements, cost targets, and schedules.
Key Responsibilities
Understand sheet metal manufacturing processes to support customer enquiries and project requirements.
Liaise with customers to understand their needs, technical requirements, and project specifications.
Build and maintain good relationships with customers and provide timely technical support.
Provide technical input and engineering information by working closely with internal engineering and technical teams.
Review customer drawings, specifications, and related documents to prepare accurate cost estimates and quotations.
Prepare and support technical presentations, project documentation, and other materials for customer discussions.
Coordinate with internal departments to monitor project progress and ensure customer orders are delivered according to schedule.
Manage multiple projects and follow up on project milestones, issues, and customer requirements.
Perform other duties and ad hoc assignments as assigned by the Project Manager.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field, preferably with experience in the sheet metal manufacturing industry.
2-5 years of relevant Project Engineering experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong project management, coordination, and problem solving skills.
Good knowledge of engineering processes and manufacturing operations.
Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Experience or knowledge of ERP systems is an added advantage.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and able to work independently as well as in a team.
