Job summary

Sime Darby Property is seeking an Executive – Placemaking to activate public realms, community hubs, and commercial nodes within its townships. The role bridges event curation, community engagement, and leasing with a focus on driving footfall and revenue while maintaining brand standards.

The ideal candidate has a background in placemaking or related fields and demonstrates strong project management, budgeting, and stakeholder skills, with proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is required.
• 2–4 years of placemaking, community management, or related experience.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Willingness to work on weekends/evenings when required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute placemaking roadmaps and activation strategies across designated townships and assets.
• Plan and run placemaking events, seasonal festivals, and pop-ups from concept to completion.
• Identify spaces, manage leasing, partnerships, sponsorships, and commercial negotiations.
• Manage budgets, track revenue, footfall, tenant feedback, and prepare reports.
