Job summary

MITSUI COPPER FOIL (MALAYSIA) SDN BHD is seeking an HR Clerk (Payroll) to join our Human Resources team in Shah Alam, Selangor. This full-time role focuses on payroll administration, employee records, and general HR duties, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing in line with Malaysian regulations.

You will handle payroll records, attendance, overtime, and leave, while maintaining confidential files and responding to payroll inquiries.

Qualifications

• Completed SPM or equivalent; Higher qualification in HR/Business Administration or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as an HR Clerk, Payroll Administrator or similar HR admin role.
• Knowledge of Malaysian payroll processing, statutory deductions, income tax and EPF/SOCSO regulations.
• Proficiency in payroll software systems.

Responsibilities

• Processing and maintaining accurate payroll records for all employees, including attendance, overtime and leave.
• Maintaining confidential employee records and personnel files per data protection regulations.
• Responding to employee payroll enquiries and resolving discrepancies promptly.
• Supporting the preparation of HR reports and analytics related to payroll.
• Ensuring compliance with Malaysian employment law, tax regulations and HR policies.
• Performing general administrative duties including filing, data entry and scheduling.
• Processing employees' Interest Subsidy claims.
• Preparing company's monthly Newsletter.
