Job summary

SC New Energy Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Payroll Executive in Pasir Gudang, Johor to manage end-to-end payroll, ensure compliance with Malaysian labour laws, and respond to employee payroll queries.

You will handle monthly payroll processing, statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB), maintain records, generate reports, and collaborate with HR and Finance to resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in HR, business admin, accounting, or related field.
• 2+ years of payroll experience preferred.
• Familiar with Malaysian payroll statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; payroll/HR systems experience is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with ability to handle confidential information and meet deadlines.
• Good communication in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll – compute salaries, overtime, allowances, claims, and deductions.
• Handle statutory contributions – EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and PCB submissions; ensure timely filing by the 15th of each month.
• Maintain and update payroll records – new hires, terminations, salary changes, and employee master data.
• Prepare payroll reports and summaries for management review.
• Liaise with HR, Finance, and external vendors to resolve payroll discrepancies.
• Support annual salary reviews, bonuses, and other remuneration exercises.
• Maintain proper payroll documentation for audit and internal control purposes.
• Provide payroll support and guidance to employees regarding payroll-related queries.
