Job summary

Mettler-Toledo Services Asia-Pac Sdn Bhd is seeking a Payroll Executive to manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in Malaysia. You will handle statutory contributions, tax compliance, and payroll reporting while maintaining data confidentiality.

The role requires 2–3 years of payroll experience, familiarity with Malaysian payroll regulations, and experience in a multinational environment. SAP HCM and SAGE payroll knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of payroll processing and statutory compliance experience.
• Knowledge of Malaysian employment law and tax rules.

• Familiar with SAP HCM and SAGE payroll systems.

Responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll accurately and within established timelines.
• Ensure correct calculation and submission of statutory contributions including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and Income Tax.
• Maintain accurate payroll records in compliance with company policies and relevant legislation.
• Manage payroll data and employee records while ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
• Oversee statutory contributions, tax submissions, and annual reporting activities.
• Prepare and reconcile monthly payroll journals and ensure alignment with finance records.
• Generate payroll reports for management, audits, and statutory submissions.
• Serve as the primary contact for payroll-related enquiries from employees.

Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Executive to manage end-to-end payroll processing, statutory compliance, payroll reporting, and employee payroll support. The successful candidate will ensure accurate and timely payroll administration while maintaining compliance with local employment, tax, and statutory regulations.

Key responsibilities

Process monthly payroll accurately and within established timelines.

Ensure correct calculation and submission of statutory contributions including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and Income Tax (PCB/MTD).

Maintain accurate payroll records in compliance with company policies and relevant legislation.

Manage payroll data and employee records while ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.

Manage payroll statutory and tax compliance, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements.

Oversee statutory contributions, tax submissions, and annual reporting activities.

Maintain compliance documentation and support audits, investigations, and regulatory enquiries.

Prepare and reconcile monthly payroll journals and ensure alignment with finance records.

Generate payroll reports for management, audits, and statutory submissions.

Serve as the primary contact for payroll-related enquiries from employees.

About you

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in payroll processing and statutory compliance.

Good understanding of Malaysian employment legislation, payroll practices, and statutory requirements.

Experience working in a multinational corporation (MNC) environment.

Familiarity with SAP HCM and Access SAGE payroll systems.

Experience supporting payroll audits and compliance reviews.
