Private Advertiser is seeking a payroll professional to manage the company's monthly payroll process for all employees in Malaysia. The role emphasizes accuracy, timeliness and confidentiality.
You will verify attendance, overtime, allowances, deductions, and statutory contributions, prepare payroll reports for HR and management, and respond to employee payroll enquiries while ensuring compliance with Malaysian payroll laws and company policies.
Responsible for managing 3 company's monthly payroll process accurately, timely, and confidentially, including salary calculation, attendance, overtime, allowances, deductions, statutory contributions, payroll records, and employee payroll enquiries. The position ensures payroll practices comply with company policies and applicable Malaysian employment and statutory requirements.
Manage the end-to-end monthly payroll process for all employees
Verify attendance, lateness, unpaid leave, overtime, public holiday work, allowances, deductions, and other payroll-related information
Ensure accurate calculation of basic salary, overtime, allowances, incentives, commissions, deductions, and other payments
Process new joiners, resignations, transfers, promotions, salary adjustments, and other employee movements in the payroll system
Conduct payroll reconciliation and verification before submission for management approval
Respond to employees' payroll and salary-related enquiries professionally
Prepare monthly payroll reports for HR and Management
Maintain accurate employee payroll master data and ensure payroll system records are updated and properly maintained
Maintain proper filing of payroll reports, statutory records, approvals, and supporting documents
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum 2-3 years of payroll experience, preferably in a manufacturing or large workforce environment
Familiarity with Malaysian payroll and statutory requirements
Experience with payroll systems and attendance management systems
Good knowledge of Malaysian payroll practices and statutory contributions
Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIF/COUNTIF, Pivot Tables, IF formulas, and payroll reconciliation
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong integrity and confidentiality
Good time management and ability to meet strict payroll deadlines
Able to work independently and handle sensitive employee information
