Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Executive to manage end-to-end payroll processing, statutory compliance, payroll reporting, and employee payroll support. You will ensure accurate and timely payroll administration while upholding local employment, tax, and statutory regulations.

The role covers monthly payroll, statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB/MTD), data integrity, audits, and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in payroll processing and statutory compliance.
• Good understanding of Malaysian employment legislation, payroll practices, and statutory requirements.
• Experience working in a multinational corporation (MNC) environment.
• Familiarity with SAP HCM and Access SAGE payroll systems.
• Experience supporting payroll audits and compliance reviews.

Responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll accurately and within established timelines.
• Ensure correct calculation and submission of statutory contributions including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and Income Tax (PCB/MTD).
• Maintain accurate payroll records in compliance with company policies and relevant legislation.
• Manage payroll data and employee records while ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
• Oversee payroll statutory and tax compliance, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements.
• Maintain compliance documentation and support audits, investigations, and regulatory enquiries.
• Prepare and reconcile monthly payroll journals and ensure alignment with finance records.
• Generate payroll reports for management, audits, and statutory submissions.
• Serve as the primary contact for payroll-related enquiries from employees.
