Job summary

Versatile Rising Sdn. Bhd. in Bayan Lepas, Penang, is seeking a Payroll/HR Admin to process monthly payroll for outsourced staff, collect attendance data, and prepare payslips and reports.

Ideal candidate has a diploma/degree in HR/Accounting or related field, with 1–2 years of payroll or HR admin experience. Proficiency in Excel; RAMCO experience a plus; strong communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin beneficial.

Job Responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll accurately and on time for outsourced employees.
• Collect, check and key in attendance, OT, shift allowance, incentive, claims, unpaid leave and other payroll-related information.
• Prepare payroll summaries, bank files, payslips and payroll reports.
• Handle statutory contributions and submissions, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS and PCB/MTD.
• Maintain accurate employee payroll records, salary changes, bank details, leave records and supporting documents.
• Liaise with site supervisors, clients and employees to resolve attendance, salary and payroll enquiries.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding documentation, including employee registration, resignation and final salary matters.
• Prepare invoices, billing support documents and manpower reports when required.
• Ensure payroll processes comply with company policies, employment regulations and confidentiality requirements.
• Support other HR and administrative duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in payroll, HR administration or accounts administration is preferred.
• Experience handling high-volume payroll or outsourced manpower payroll is an added advantage.
• Familiar with EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB/MTD and Malaysian employment practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data checking and report preparation.
• Experience with payroll or HR systems such as RAMCO is an advantage.
• Detail-oriented, organised and able to handle confidential information professionally.
• Able to work independently, manage deadlines and communicate effectively with different stakeholders.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an added advantage.
