We are looking for an HR Executive (Payroll) to support day-to-day HR operations, with a key focus on payroll administration and statutory compliance. The role will support general HR matters across the employee lifecycle and progressively take ownership of the end-to-end payroll function as payroll is transitioned in-house.
Key responsibilities
Support the preparation and processing of monthly payroll, including payroll checking and reconciliation.
Maintain payroll information including salary, allowances, deductions, overtime, claims and other adjustments.
Handle payroll matters for new joiners, salary adjustments, resignations and final payments.
Prepare statutory contributions and payroll-related submissions, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB and HRD Corp.
Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records and respond to payroll-related enquiries.
Liaise with payroll vendors and relevant authorities when required.
Progressively take ownership of the full payroll cycle as payroll is brought in-house.
Support recruitment, onboarding, confirmation, employee movements and offboarding.
Maintain employee records, leave and attendance information.
Prepare employment letters and HR documentation.
Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
2–4 years of relevant HR experience, with hands-on payroll experience.
Good knowledge of Malaysian payroll and statutory requirements, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB and HRD Corp.
Familiarity with payroll systems or HRIS.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Detail-oriented, organised and able to meet payroll deadlines.
Able to handle confidential information with discretion.
Proactive, responsible and able to work independently and as part of a team.
