Jora Malaysia is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Officer to manage end-to-end monthly payroll, ensure statutory compliance, and administer employee benefits. The role involves maintaining employee records, processing salary payments, and coordinating with HR on attendance, leaves, and movements.
You will verify payroll calculations, handle statutory contributions, and respond to payroll inquiries while upholding confidentiality and security of payroll data.

This role involves managing end-to-end payroll processes, maintaining employee records, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and administering employee benefits. You will be responsible for accurate and timely salary payments, statutory contributions, attendance monitoring, and foreign worker permit coordination.
Manage the end-to-end monthly payroll process to ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries, wages, allowances and other compensation
Verify payroll calculations, attendance records, overtime, deductions and employee movement information
Ensure accurate calculation and submission of statutory contributions, including EPF, SOCSO, PCB, EIS and HRDF
Perform payroll reconciliation and other payroll-related activities within the required timelines
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee payroll and personal records
Process and update employee movements, including new joiners, resignations, transfers, promotions and salary adjustments
Ensure HR and payroll processes comply with applicable employment laws, statutory regulations and company policies
Monitor absenteeism by ensuring the accuracy of employee attendance data
Respond to employees' payroll, attendance and benefits enquiries promptly and professionally
Administer employee benefits, including medical and health insurance, retirement plans and voluntary deductions
Proficient in using Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), payroll software and other relevant digital tools
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Able to perform payroll calculations, analyse data, prepare reports and create presentations
Experienced in using timekeeping and attendance management systems to accurately record, monitor and verify employees' working hours, overtime, leave and attendance data
Proficient in using email, instant messaging and video-conferencing platforms to communicate effectively with employees, team members and other stakeholders
Able to maintain confidentiality and security of all payroll information
