Monee is seeking a Finance Operations Specialist to support ShopeePay in Kuala Lumpur. The role focuses on payment reconciliations, merchant settlements, and ensuring timely processing, with collaboration across customer support, product, and technical teams.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in finance operations, a diploma or degree in accounting/finance, and a proactive, detailed approach to problem solving in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related fields.
• Strong communication skills via email, in person, and remote discussions.
• Detail orientation and structured problem-solving under pressure.
• Experience in e-commerce or fintech is a plus.
• Knowledge of SQL and Power Query is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams to resolve payment issues.

Responsabilités

• Assist in day-to-day operations related to customer payments, driver transactions, and merchant settlements.
• Perform reconciliation and settlement duties via Payment Bulk Transfer and Local Payment to external parties.
• Monitor processed payments and address failed settlements with resubmission as needed.
• Respond to inquiries from business stakeholders to resolve delays or discrepancies in payment processing.
• Collaborate with Customer Support to handle merchants' and users' payment inquiries.
• Work with Product and Technical teams to identify trends and improve settlement workflows.
• Lead ad-hoc tasks or projects as assigned.
