Job summary

NBS Intellectual Sdn Bhd is an award-winning IP firm in Malaysia, seeking dynamic individuals for patent-related roles. Responsibilities include novelty searches, drafting and filing patent documents, PCT and foreign filings, IP queries, and maintaining IP management systems.

Strong English and Bahasa Malaysia required; MS Office proficiency essential. We offer yearly profit sharing, medical benefits, training opportunities, annual increments, group commissions, and other rewards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical, Biological Sciences, Organic Chemistry, or AI/CS/IT/Software Engineering.
At least 2 years of IP-related experience.
Strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both spoken and written.
Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Master’s degree or above is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

Perform novelty and other IP-related searches, incl. freedom-to-operate and landscape analyses.
Draft and file patent documents for clients’ inventions.
Conduct PCT national-phase filings and foreign filings with foreign agents.
Handle patent queries and cost estimates.
Report on examination results from IP offices locally and abroad.
Assist in document management and IP-related materials; proofreading content.
