Job summary

NBS Intellectual in Malaysia seeks a Patent Executive to join our on-site team in Puchong. You will prepare, review, and file patent-related documents, liaise with clients to gather information, and coordinate with foreign agents for PCT and international filings.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, timely service delivery, and collaboration across IP practice areas, including trademarks, industrial designs, and copyrights as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of IP-related experience.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Demonstrates time management and eagerness to learn; team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Perform novelty searches and other patent-related analyses.
• Draft and file patent documents for clients' inventions.
• Perform PCT national-phase filings / foreign filings by liaising with foreign agents.
• Handle patent queries and cost estimates.
• Prepare responses to examination reports from IP Offices locally and abroad.
• Assist with IP management systems and document preparation for patents and designs.
• Proofread and prepare IP-related content for marketing and educational materials.
