ADASTRA IP (M) SDN. BHD. is seeking an Executive to provide consultancy on trademark matters, prepare submissions for IP Office, and manage the end-to-end application process. The role requires meticulous attention to detail and strong communication with clients and colleagues.
You will supervise clerical staff, produce monthly reports for the head of department, and stay updated on IP laws and procedures. Independent and team work are both valued in a dynamic, client-focused environment.

Provide consultancy services to clients on Trademark matters
Handle and prepare relevant documentation for submission to the Intellectual Property Office
Manage and monitor the entire application process until completion, including issuance of certificates
Draft submissions and responses to refusal notices, and advise clients on available options to overcome objections from the IP Office
Supervise clerical staff to ensure databases are updated, deadlines are met, inquiries are attended to promptly, and reporting letters are issued on time
Prepare monthly reports and updates for the HOD regarding cases handled by the team
Keep updated with current developments, changes, and procedures in Intellectual Property laws and regulations
Write articles and updates to create awareness on Intellectual Property rights and related matters
Bachelor’s Degree in Law or equivalent qualification
Minimum 2 years of experience in handling Trademark, Industrial Design, or Copyright matters
Strong analytical, proactive, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure, pay attention to detail, and meet tight deadlines
Sound knowledge of Intellectual Property laws and procedures will be an added advantage
Good personality with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
