Job summary

Adena Beach Resort in Malaysia is seeking a Kitchen Helper to assist the Pastry Chef in preparing cakes, pastries, desserts and bakery products. You will measure ingredients according to recipes, assist with mixing, baking, decorating and food preparation, and help arrange display of pastries.

• Measure and prepare ingredients according to recipes.
• Assist with mixing, baking, decorating and food preparation.
• Wash, clean and prepare kitchen utensils and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the pastry kitchen.
• Ensure ingredients are properly stored and labelled.
• Check stock levels and inform the Pastry Chef of shortages.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and kitchen SOPs.
• Assist in arranging and displaying pastries and desserts.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Pastry Chef or Management.
