Qualifications

• Proficient in baking techniques, pastry making, and cake decoration including fondant, buttercream, piping, and sugar work.

• Ability to manage multiple orders in a fast paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and produce a wide variety of baked goods, pastries, and cakes.
• Develop and test new recipes for seasonal and signature flavors.
• Design and execute custom cakes for events as per client specs.
• Ensure quality, freshness, and presentation of all bakery products.
• Maintain food hygiene and safety compliance in the kitchen.
• Oversee inventory and ingredient orders; monitor kitchen supplies.

Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety compliance in the kitchen

Oversee inventory, manage ingredient orders, and monitor kitchen supplies to ensure efficient production

Train, mentor, and supervise junior staff, guiding them on techniques in baking, pastry, and cake decoration

Collaborate with the management team to design menu offerings and promotional items

About you

Minimum 1 years of professional experience in baking, pastry, or cake design roles

Proficient in various baking techniques, pastry making, and cake decoration methods, including fondant, buttercream, piping, and sugar work

Strong creativity and artistic flair, with a keen eye for detail and presentation

Ability to manage multiple orders and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Excellent organizational skills and familiarity with kitchen safety procedures

Culinary certification in baking or pastry arts is a plus

Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
