Job summary

KÖSA Coffee in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a responsible Café Supervisor to support the day-to-day operations across our outlets. You will work closely with the Operations Manager and outlet teams to uphold service standards, product quality, and overall operational efficiency.

You will lead shifts, supervise baristas and service crew, manage inventory and stock, handle customer enquiries and feedback, and coach new staff.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in café/restaurant/F&B/hospitality operations.
• Previous supervisory or team-leading experience preferred.
• Hands-on and able to work closely with outlet teams.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities

Lead daily café operations and ensure smooth workflow across all shifts.

Supervise, guide, and support baristas and service crew during daily operations.

Maintain KÖSA's beverage, food, recipe, presentation, and service standards.

Monitor outlet cleanliness, hygiene, equipment, and customer areas.

Manage inventory, daily stock counts, stock arrangement, shortages, and wastage.

Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.

Assist with staff scheduling, shift planning, attendance, and manpower arrangements.

Conduct onboarding and basic operational training for new team members.

Coach existing team members and identify areas for improvement.

Ensure all SOPs, safety requirements, opening/closing checklists, and operational procedures are followed.

About you

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in café, restaurant, F&B, retail, or hospitality operations.

Previous supervisory or team-leading experience is preferred.

Hands-on and comfortable working directly with the outlet team.

Good communication, leadership, and customer service skills.

Able to handle customer complaints and operational issues calmly and professionally.

Responsible, organised, and detail-oriented.

Basic knowledge of inventory control, POS systems, cash handling, and staff scheduling.

Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Able to travel between KÖSA outlets when required.

Barista or coffee knowledge will be an added advantage.
