Job summary

Scientex in Shah Alam, Malaysia is seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to oversee shift technicians and coordinate daily mechanical, electrical and maintenance activities on plastic manufacturing equipment.

You will lead breakdown troubleshooting to minimize downtime, execute preventive maintenance for blown film, printing, lamination, slitting and bag-making machinery, and monitor critical spare parts to ensure timely breakdown recovery.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or related Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of maintenance/troubleshooting experience in plastics, flexible packaging or heavy manufacturing.
• Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Strong leadership, troubleshooting and shift-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise shift technicians and coordinate daily mechanical, electrical and maintenance activities.
• Lead breakdown troubleshooting and repairs for production equipment to minimize machine downtime.
• Execute preventive maintenance for blown film, printing, lamination, slitting and bag-making machinery.
• Monitor and manage critical engineering spare parts to ensure timely breakdown recovery.
